The Encouragers Sunday School Class is a class for those of us that feel to old for the Youth Department and too young for the Senior Adult Department. Many of us are just starting out after college and high school or just starting our own families.

We want to fellowship with people our own ages that are going through many of the same day to day straggles that we are. We want to worship with those that share the same concerns and hopes for the future.

The Encouragers name comes from a first Century Disciple BARNABAS. You'll find his story starting with Acts 4:36. He's refered to many times in this book, Actually only Paul and Peter are mentioned more. And yet often many people do not know of this man and his ENCOURAGING SPIRIT. Why? Because he lived to serve others. His actual name was Joseph but he was called BARNABAS meaning SON OF ENCOURAGEMENT. Barnabas came alongside people during times of challenge and helped them.

It is the hope of this class that we, like Barnabas, We might be people of Encouragment. Our goal as a class is to equip, edify, enrich and encourage God's servants so that they are refreshed in thier soles and renewed in their service to HIM.
